This microwave cover works really well and keeps food from splattering all over the inside. I used it the other night heating up spaghetti, and for once I did not have sauce stuck to the ceiling of the microwave. I like the little water tray because it helps keep leftovers from drying out, especially things like rice or pasta. Pops loves rotisserie chicken, so if its been in the fridge a day or so and got dried out, then I put it under here...add water and then warm it and the steam makes it moist for sandwiches or chopped for chicken salad. 🍝 Keeps the microwave clean and saves cleanup time (mine looks like an explosion before I used this. 💧 Water tray helps keep food from drying out (steams rotisery chicken, rice or other things that need moisture 🪝 Hangs up easy so it is not taking up space The handle feels strong and it is easy to grab without burning your fingers. This is an awesome upgrade from the super cheap microwave splatter cover I was using before. One problem with my old version was that it was flat on top, so if I heated a bowl of food, the food would often touch the cover. That meant possible contamination unless I washed it constantly. I love that this one is a dome, so it fits over almost anything except a very, very tall bowl. It’s super versatile. The flat piece on top turns easily to control the amount of steam, and the ability to add water is gold for reheating things like Thai noodles, which can dry out so easily in the microwave. The handle makes it easy to move and work with, and overall it’s just a massive upgrade for a basic kitchen item I use many times a week. I’m quite delighted with whoever came up with this, and it works great.
